This assignment was to create the packaging for school lunches which would promote healthy eating. As a child, being a picky eater myself, I wanted to create lunches that would be appealing to kids, not just re-packaging carrot sticks. I chose 2 hot meals and 1 cold meal; then I created creatures who would represent different food categories. These creatures were the mascots for the food categories. These critters were also part of a card game I created in order to help teach kids about the nutritional benefits of different types of foods. Each card represents a food category and has defense and attack points that I determined depending on the food category.
